Christy G. Hanson
Christy earned her BA in English in 2012 from New Mexico State University. She taught 8th grade English for two years from 2014, and one year in Seattle Metro. Her freelance work includes American Indian Republic.
Christy is from the Navajo Nation and is of the Bitter Water Clan. She is a descendant of Chief Manuelito, a leader who once said, “Go and tell the Navajo people that education is the ladder.” Christy enjoys the world of fiber arts and enjoys knitting, learning Navajo weaving, and Navajo-Churro sheep history and preservation.
